Errata

Following the damning grand jury report listing over 300 sex predator priests in just 6 of the 10 diocese in Pennsylvania bishop David Zubic stated that the Church had changed and was no longer like the church described in the report. His statement was incorrect. The church hasn’t changed in any respect and is still an extremely dangerous place for children. We regret any confusion caused by the bishop.

In a recent historical article we described “Pius XII, who was the pope from 1938 until his death in 1958, as a completely despicable Nazi enabler and sympathizer  who did little or nothing to protect Jews and other minorities from the Holocaust.”
We erred. He was actually pope from 1939 until 1958.
We regret the error.

Prakashanand Saraswati

In a recent post we stated that Prakushanand Saraswati of The Society for Divine Love was convicted of 20 counts of indecency with a child.

We made a serious error and we hope he forgives us. His name is actually spelled Prakashanand Saraswati.

We regret the error.

In a recent post we described Zimbabwe as the second most backward nation in Africe. In fact, as of this writing, Zimbabwe has tied with Uganda in first place as the most backward nation, not just in Africa, but in the entire world.

We regret the error.

Early last month we reported that the Vatican had offered $412 to aid the desperate refugees from war-torn African countries.

We were in error. The Vatican offered absolutely nothing to help end this horror

We, and all the desperate refugees, regret the error.

Our trivia question from two weeks ago was ‘As of today (March 1, 2015), how many people have died in religious wars throughout history?’ We incorrectly gave the answer as 591. The correct answer was 631,452,913.

We recently presented on our website this very beautiful and artistic portrait of the Prophet Mohammed…

… but according to our many Muslim friends, Mohammed actually looked like this –

“Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): 0 Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-’azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.” (Muslim 3371)

In a discussion about the above passage of Muslim scripture we wrote that the men argued about whether raping women was approved by Allah. This was incorrect. The rape was assumed to be approved; it was only the coitus interruptus that was in question.

We regret the error.

As the sign says, “WE RESPECT YOUR BELIEF IN ISLAM“. Really. We do.

In a recent post we described the country of Uganda as a cesspool of bigotry, corruption and insanity. What we intended to say was that Uganda is, and always has been, a cesspool of bigotry, corruption, insanity, torture, hatred, intolerance, hypocrisy and misogyny.

We regret the error.

Bernard Law

We recently made the statement that Cardinal Bernard Francis Law was responsible for covering up the sex crimes of several priests in the Boston diocese by simply transferring them to other parishes in the area after their crimes became known. Actually he covered up the sex crimes of dozens of such priests.

We regret the error.

PopeChild

Last week we mistakenly described the pope as an avid pedophile. That should have read avid oenophile. The pope, of course, has never actually been convicted as a pedophile but does head the largest organization of pedophiles on the planet and works diligently to protect every one of them.

We regret the error.
