Priests picked deaf children to abuse because their cries of terror and pain couldn’t be heard by the other deaf children at the school. And the Vatican knew about it for years, and did nothing. NOTHING. If ever there was a case for the death penalty, this is it.
If you practice or are otherwise involved in the Catholic religion, you are supporting child abuse. How many more children have to be raped and abused before you people understand this?
LUJAN DE CUYO, Argentina – The children said they wailed as the two Roman Catholic priests repeatedly raped them inside the small school chapel in remote northwestern Argentina. Only their tormenters would have heard their cries since the other children at the school were deaf.
The clerical sex abuse scandal unfolding at the Antonio Provolo Institute for hearing impaired children in Mendoza province would be shocking enough on its own. Except that dozens of students in the Provolo Institute’s school in Italy were similarly abused for decades, allegedly by the same priest who now stands accused of raping and molesting young deaf Argentines.
And the Vatican knew about him since at least 2009, when the Italy victims went public with tales of shocking abuse against the most vulnerable of children and named names. In 2014, the Italian victims wrote directly to Pope Francis again naming the Rev. Nicola Corradi as a pedophile and flagged that he was living in Francis’ native Argentina. Yet apparently, nothing was done.
At least 24 students of the Provolo institute in Argentina have now come forward seeking justice for the abuse they say they suffered at the hands of Corradi, 82, another priest, the Rev. Horacio Corbacho, 55, and three other men. The five were arrested in late November by police who raided the school and found magazines featuring naked women and about $34,000 in Corradi’s room.
All the suspects are being held at a jail in Mendoza and have not spoken publicly since their arrest.
“From the pope down … all of the Catholic Church hierarchy is the same. They all knew,” one of the Mendoza victims told The Associated Press through a sign language interpreter.
The Provolo case first exploded in Italy in 2009, when the Italian victims went public with stories of abuse after what they said were three useless years of negotiations with the diocese of Verona, where the institute has its Italy headquarters.
The 67 victims alleged sexual abuse, pedophilia and corporal punishment at the hands of priests, brothers and lay religious from the 1950s to the 1980s. At the time, 14 of the victims wrote sworn statements and videotaped their testimony detailing the abuse they suffered. They named 24 priests, lay religious and religious brothers in a list that was published online.
In 2010, the Vatican ordered the Verona diocese to investigate the claims. One of the victims named Corradi during the inquiry.
But he apparently was never sanctioned. Five other accused were.
The Italian victims didn’t stop.
On Dec. 31, 2013, they wrote to the pope asking him to institute an independent commission of inquiry to investigate clerical sex abuse in Italy.
On Oct. 20, 2014, they wrote Francis and the Verona bishop naming 14 priests and lay religious from the institute who were still alive and in ministry who allegedly had sexually abused them. They named Corradi, and noted that he and three others were in Argentina.
No response was immediately received.
More than two years later, the Vatican’s No. 3 official, Monsignor Angelo Becciu, acknowledged receipt of the letters. In a Feb. 5, 2016, response, he said that as far as the Provolo victims’ request for a commission of inquiry was concerned, he had forwarded the proposal to the Italian Bishops’ Conference.
The Italian Bishops’ Conference didn’t respond to an email seeking comment on whether such a commission was under consideration.
“I’m convinced that some hierarchy covered this up. They sent the wolf to take care of the sheep,” said Alejandro Gulle, the chief prosecutor in Mendoza.
The Mendoza Archbishopric says it was unaware of the accusations against Corradi. “A religious man comes to a diocese and you trust the legitimate superior,” spokesman Marcelo De Benedectis said.
He said that allegations aired by the case have been “so outrageous,” the Mendoza diocese has taken measures like demanding a sworn statement from religious people stating that they don’t have “backgrounds” under canon or civil law.

Ah, New Jersey! The state leading the country in producing corrupt, fucked up, self-indulgent, perverted people.
Kevin Gugliotta, making New Jersey and the Catholic Church proud.
HONESDALE, Pa. – A Roman Catholic priest from New Jersey has been charged in Pennsylvania with uploading child pornography to an internet chat room. His lawyer is attacking the probe and says the priest will “vigorously” defend himself.
Father Kevin Gugliotta of Mahwah, N.J., is charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography and 20 counts of dissemination of child pornography. He was arrested last week in Toms River, New Jersey, and is being held pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
Wayne County District Attorney Janine Edwards said Wednesday the images were uploaded from an internet address registered to Gugliotta in Gouldsboro, Pennsylvania.
Gugliotta’s attorney, Jim Swetz, says it doesn’t appear investigators recovered the device Gugliotta allegedly used.
Gugliotta was parochial vicar at Holy Spirit Church in Union, New Jersey. Newark Archbishop John J. Myers has removed Gugliotta from ministry.
In a statement released after the arrest, a spokesman for the Archdiocese of Newark said “the American system of justice assumes the presumption of innocence of the accused.”
This is a serious and difficult matter that must proceed, as required, through the court process of the State of Pennsylvania. As a result, the Archdiocese is not in a position to discuss the details of Father Gugliotta’s situation at this time,” the statement said.
“The Archdiocese of Newark takes very seriously any and all complaints of sexual misconduct by members of the Clergy, Religious and lay staff of the Archdiocese, its parishes and schools,” it said. “Anyone with knowledge of an act of sexual misconduct is encouraged to inform the Archdiocese immediately so that it may take appropriate action and provide support to the victim.”
Fuck the priests and, oh yeah, fuck the pope.

“God has ordered us to kill his enemies…”
And here’s what that religious zealotry looks like in practice –
The Wednesday arrest was made on the very day the imam planned to attack.
The dramatic arrest took place at a refugee centre, where he had become known to speak frequently in support of Islamic State (ISIS) – also known as Daesh.
Staff at the refugee camp had overheard the young cleric, whose name has not been disclosed, even encouraging refugees to join the jihad.
Counter-terror police described his “intense and vehement proselytism” among migrants for extremism at the migrant reception centre in Campobasso, southern Italy.
The Wednesday arrest was also made on the very day the imam planned to go to Rome and carry out the attack on the Termini train station.
The Government said the latest arrest shows the counter-terrorism system “works”
Italian investigators revealed that the imam was heard saying: “Charlie Hebdo was just the beginning, the war continues.”
Intelligence services had worked for two months gathering in-depth information on the young man’s radical views, using both phone tapping and hidden cameras among the ISIS targets.
Italy’s law enforcement have been on high alert since Rome was mentioned among the ISIS targets
The Somalian man urged fellow refugees to become “matyrs for Islam” and suggested instead of fire arms, “there’s an easier way to equip a bomb and to blow yourself up.”
He added: “So take advantage of this month, and race to be the first.
“God has ordered us to kill his enemies and make jihad in his name, preach religion and Sharia and punish the sinner.
“Let’s start from Italy, let’s go to Rome and start with the station.”
The Wednesday arrest was also made on the very day the imam planned to go to Rome and carry out the attack. According to the charges brought against him, the young Somali also sang the praises of al-Qaeda and al Shabaab.
He praised the gunmen involved in the Paris attacks on November 13 2015, which left 130 dead.
The cleric’s views were so extreme that many worshipers opted to drop out of his services, according to the police.
The imam had recently been denied refugee status and would have had to leave the migrant centre soon.

Far-right politicians blamed Prime Minister Matteo Renzi’s weak immigration policies
Italy’s law enforcement have been on high alert since Rome was mentioned among the targets in an ISIS video released shortly after the Paris terror attacks.
In January, Italian police arrested a 25-year-old Moroccan man who was suspected of preparing a terrorist attack – with jihadi training manuals found in his home.
Italian Minister of the Interior Angelino Alfano said the latest arrest shows the counter-terrorism system “works”.

This was a perfect situation for pedophile priests – a school full of deaf children who could not hear the screams of pain, fear and despair from their friends and classmates.. T
Two priests and three employees of an institute for children with hearing problems were arrested in Lujan de Cuyo in Mendoza province this week, on accusations that they sexually abused at least 60 children.
The suspects, 82-year-old priest Nicolás Corradi and 55-year-old priest Horacio Corbacho, along with employee José Luis Ojeda, and two others are accused of carrying out shocking abuse and raping students for years.
“The children say that they were taken to a place in the institute called the “House of God”, and the victims would see what would happen behind the door … they saw the priests engage in oral sex, and other sexual acts” said prosecutor Fabricio Sidoti.
The prosecutor highlighted that the children were between 10 and 12 years old, and alleged that at the time of the abuse they still didn’t know how to use sign language, or know how to communicate fully. The investigation, which has shocked the province, exploded after Radical senator Daniela García was told about the sex abuse by a member of the Mendoza Movement for Deaf People, who is now a witness.
None of the three suspects being held in custody were reported to have resisted arrest. It later emerged that Corradi, the elder priest accused of sex abuse, is also wanted in another case presented by sex abuse victims in Washington DC in 2015. The 82-year-old priest is accused of sexually abusing deaf children, dating back to 1955 in Verona, Italy. “We were consulted from Italy if this priest resided in Argentina. This happened two years ago. In 2009, more than 50 priests who belonged to the Próvolo institute in Verona were denounced for sexual abuse that occurred between the 1950s and 1980s,” said Carlos Lombardi, the lawyer for a group of survivors of clerical sex abuse.
The lawyer said that what happened didn’t surprise him.
“Everything the Church does is covered up, hidden, the Church hides everything,” said Lombardi to the UNO newspaper.
It is believed that the priests were sent to the Próvolo Institute’s headquarters in Mendoza and La Plata, under an internal “pact of silence” inside the Church.
Following the scandal, Mendoza Governor Alfredo Cornejo’s administration asked the Archdiocese of Mendoza province to provide a list of all the priests in the Mendoza, so they can continue investigating whether more could have been possibly involved in the sex abuse of minors.

Syed Shah, rapist and fraud
SEXUAL HEALING Spiritual healer tricked a woman into having sex with him claiming it would cure her marriage
Syed Shah promised to ‘purify’ her relationship with her husband
A SPIRITUAL healer tricked a woman into having sex with him to solve her marriage problems – and then made her pay £6,000.
Syed Shah conned the 28-year-old mum into believing he could “purify” her relationship.
Syed Shah told a vulnerable woman having SEX with him would cure her marriage problems
Shah, 30, of Latelow Road, Stechford, was this week found guilty of two charges of rape and one of fraud following a trial at Birmingham Crown Court.
Judge Patrick Thomas QC jailed him for 12 years – after it was revealed he had sexually assaulted another woman while performing a healing ritual.
Shah was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life and must pay the victim £10,000 compensation.
The court heard how the woman, who had been married for three years and had a young son, was having difficulties in her marriage.
A friend introduced her to Shah in June last year, who offered to help “cure” her marriage.
The ritual involved sacrificing a goat and getting her to perform daily readings.
She later returned to tell Shah nothing had changed. He told her that there were more rituals to be carried out – and it involved having sex with him.
The woman had sex with Shah twice, and also gave him £6,000.
But she began to feel uncomfortable about what was going on and concerned that she was being unfaithful to her husband.
It was when she saw a report on the Birmingham Mail website, revealing that Shah had sexually assaulted another woman he persuaded to undress, that she went to the police.
Shah was subsequently jailed for two years after admitting the previous offence.
